vLove was originally working on a battlemap, but this looked so absolutely perfect that I requested that we have two maps be created with what was previewed as the point of divergence. One map is a battlemap where youll duke it out outside the Minor Hive featured. The second map will be the actual castle equivalent location with a siege, and walkable/explorable locations in genuine play.

Other then our hideouts, this can definitely be considered one of our teams biggest dives into large-city scale environments. A huge reason for this leap in progress can be credited to the massively impactful contributions by our 3D Team. They have been pumping out a lot of environmental assets all while working on major features like speeders, our final clone overhaul, and getting the brand new Dooku outfit ingame. Huge shout out to Tbro and Clarkey for really kicking the project into this phase of development we have found ourselves in.

A huge thing that has come from these dives into more complicated content has been the R&D giving us confidence for greater things. vLove has decided to start testing campaign map creation specifically for the Geo Campaign. While its still extremely early to say, I can easily say now more than ever is a fantastic time to be testing the ready-for-testing module versions weve posted and really giving any and all feedback. Not all ideas and suggestions will result in action, but we are reaching a point where when it comes to being able to recreate and improve what we have done for Geo is extremely possible. Find your favorite map and communicate to the team how we could make it better in your opinion, the hardest part of creating the map is realizing we overlooked something that could have taken our map to the next level. Your involvement is not only appreciated but genuinly necessary to take an initially "completed" map and taking it to the point where its something we want previewed in Youtube content, and especially in public release versions.

This post is intended to be a make up post for Friday, a bonus post(or two) is up next!
