They wanted to take a break after 'ON' and the world tour but COVID happened. Because of that they had to cancel the tour and not go for a break. They changed plans and released singles like Dynamite that became the most successful song by a Korean act ever. I am sure they appreciate what the singles did for them and how it doubled the number of the fandom and as RM said some reactions from some people they felt were unfair to them. I know what he means. Now they finally can take that break after delaying it for 2 years and concentrate on Solo work and come back later as a group together stronger Than ever. I am glad that they are so honest and sincere. Also they will still be active as a group doing new Run BTS episodes and other group activities so that's great news.
