Ummm, It wasn’t “Bright Bright Bright” as you said. Life goes on was right after dynamite by few months. And BE was released at the same time, but people choose to ignore it for some reason to make it seem like BTS dropped 3 english tracks after one another so they ignore a whole korean album that was released few months after dynamite. Also BTS do their concepts based on what they feel at the moment so Dynamite was released because COVID happened, same thing for butter and PTD. MY universe which is another single was not bright whatsoever too. Point is the album that’s coming will be based on their current feelings since they wrote it themselves and the company didn’t hand it to them like other kpop groups, so they will decide the concept wether it’s dark, bright, sad, hiohop, etc.. I’m sure it will be amazing no matter what “concept” they choose to do this time as they always change their sound and image. Also in my humble personal opinion, nowadays most boy groups stick to the same dark/heavy concept to the point where they are recycling the same concepts over and over again it’s becoming boring and there’s no creativity, it’s better that the artists releases a song or a concept based on their current feelings, this way it’s more creative and there’s more freedom. It’s doesn’t have to be “i did a bright concept so now i have to do a very dark concept”. It’s better to leave the artist to do what They want to talk about in their album or title track and the concept will follow along eventually no matter what it is. Kpop has to stop being so visually oriented to the point where the outfits they are wearing becomes more important than them actually singing not lip-syncing or writing their own lyrics like some 4th gen groups.
