If you like zombies + Korean aspect, i recommend "Kingdom" which is also available on Netflix. It has 12 episodes (still ongoing, waiting for Season 3) + 1 movie prequel.

Pretty sure such 'vips' exist in real world too, the 'elite' rulling class that are wealthy, powerful and that would probably pay/bet money on people for such form of entertainment just because they are bored, they don't care about people's lifes. As you saw, they played with them like with chess pieces and would eliminate them whenever someone dies, there's a huge checkerboard floor too. Wouldn't be that surprised if something like this actually happened with all those people going missing every year, maybe on a smaller scale or in different ways (like the black market of organs), aside from being the metaphor to classes in the society and capitalism. This drama is quite heavy on the occult symbolism, especially this episode and the last few. These masks do look funny and pathetic but it represents the animalistic side of humans, there's plenty of proof that the elite have held and holds parties where they actually wear similar animal masks. Just google 'Rothschild ball' It is very disgusting and disturbing. Similar things are also portrayed in a movie 'Eyes Wide Shut'. They are probably just giving us a little sneak peek into their hobbies and viewpoint towards the 'lowlife peasants' lol.
