This is related to lullaby since this is about meeting a person in a dream after death. But instead of the person dreaming, the main character is the dead person saying goodbye in a dream. Here, she said dreams and death lead to nowhere. For the dream, it is because even if their encounter happened in the dream, once the guy wakes up, he won't remember a thing. For death, all she feels after dying is a sense of disappearing. Basically, after the dream, both IU and the guy's conversations, feelings, and sentiments will disappear forever. Because the guy won't remember. Because she's dead. So the question then becomes this: if no one will remember what happened during the dream, does their encounter and the resolution of their feelings matter? Or will those just become same as dreams and death-- leading to nowhere and becoming nothing? That was the question I got from the film. :)

In the tranquil atmosphere of the night, the woman is calmly talking about her death. I felt a warm comfort throughout the movie. The woman said, "Even if you wake up from your dream and forget everything, it's important to be together again at this moment." If life is finite and even dreams and deaths just disappear and we have no choice but to be lonely again, this moment with our loved ones becomes more precious. The remaining people will live somehow. However, she would have hoped that memories of herself would not remain hurtful to the man. This dream is a man's dream. It is also an expression of the man's will to live again a normal life, remembering her as a beautiful memory, not a painful wound anymore.
