this is not a spoiler, just an explanation. as you remember, they planned to attack the crown prince. which is the one that switch place with wang so. i think they know that the attack will happen so they switch places? its been such a long time since i watched this so i cant remember hahahahah i believe they planned to switch places so the other prince (who is always with the queen, with thick eyeliner), will get to be the crown prince

This was Baekhyun's first proper(?) acting on TV drama and even a historical drama. Actually his character Wang eun is about 15 years old in the drama, just a little kid so you are right he portrayed the character really well he also said that his personality is similar with Wang eun and he enjoyed acting the character!
