For me it was bad boy. I wasn't going to give 3rd gen any chance but it was Joy that caught my attention. I never had any ultimate bias, but Joy seemed different from any other idol. There is something about her .... She is like a walking conundrum (in the way she seems very strong, independent and cold even but there is a fragility and warmth in her which makes you want to protect her), she always challenges herself (whether her quiet and shy real personality, or the things she is scared of which makes you question your attitude towards life , at least me lol) and in every turn she surprises you, also not to mention her goddess level CONFIDENCE And thats how she became my one and only ult bias ever (this is coming from an adjumma fan btw, am old enough to be her mother)

i completely understand everything you just said! there's just something about her that makes me curious to know even more. she's such a lovely person and her duality is also insane, she can be cute and sexy with a blink of an eye. also her honesty is so valuable in the kpop industry, she's not afraid to be herself and give her strong opinions and point of views about things. the more you get to know her, the more your respect for her as an idol and as a person grows.
