I would recommend you watching the IU TV Jeju Concert part 1 and 2 if you have the time :) it was the last stop for her 10th anniversary concert tour. Edit: I'll add, from what I know her company when she started was really small (LOEN Entertainment) but right now they are part of Kakao Corp. which is a really big company in korea with subsidiaries in all sort of things from tech to music (Kakao M). The company also owns Melon music which is one the biggest streaming platforms in korea. She is now under EDAM Entertainment which is still a subsidiary of Kakao M. It was established by her manager of 12 years. When they established EDAM Ent. all of her staff was also transferred to EDAM.

The reason why her staff often appear in IU TV is that many of them have worked with IU for a long time so they are like family to IU and also UAENA. So a lot of fans feel a sense of closeness not just with IU, but also with her staff. (Her staff are called IU TEAM) Her managers and bodyguard are even well known to the public as well! Btw, IU was just joking when she said she had to go to hong kong right away lol She actually went to perfom at hong kong a few weeks after the concert at seoul! So you don’t have to worry 😁

dlwlrma - is IU's instagram handle. It is not an anagram, nor a nonsensical string of alphabets. It's a clever code for her name. It means Lee Ji Geum typed into a Korean keyboard which is one of IU's nickname. IU's real name is Lee Ji Eun. Eun = silver Geum = gold So IU is also known as Lee Ji Geum and she admitted she like geum better. It's basically IU and her wordplay! Fun fact: IU made another persona in one of her video lol. It's an ASMR with new EDAM employee named Lee Ji Dong (dong means bronze) and yup that's IU's persona spilling beans like there's no tomorrow. Ji Dong told everyone that IU is currently on processing of making a full album! So far, there's 3 kinds of IU: 1. Lee Ji Eun = Her real name and also her actress name (she doesn't really use IU when acting, even Hotel Del Luna in netflix her name is Lee Jieun) 2. Lee Ji Geum = she said during the interview with her real brother that Ji Geum is IU in real life, the normal human being. Not a singer, nor an artist. 3. Lee Ji Dong = the gossiper and no-secret-is-safe EDAM employee lmao
