Yeah there was a lot of haters before and during the earlier episodes of Sungjae and Joy’s WGM towards both of them. Some people thought Sungjae was too playful and not serious enough for Joy. That he should be more manly and be romantic in the relationship. There’s some people who was teasing Joy about her weight even saying at one point that Joy looks heavier than Sungjae. They also said Joy was too aggressive and strong for Sungjae and that Sungjae deserves a more delicate/feminine girl. Obviously, those haters were wrong because Sungjae and Joy are the most unique, fresh, lovable, and super charming young couple in WGM history. I loved that Sungjae and Joy did WGM on their own pace and took it slow. I really dislike how overly romantic some couples on this show gets because then it really just becomes fake to me. Besides, a lot of couples on this show doesn’t actually end up together in a real life. There’s only like what 2-3 couples that became real life couples and they were mostly comedians or like MCs/actors not so much the idol couples. So when Sungjae and Joy came on the show I just loved how they did it their own way. They weren’t completely romantic..they were awkward, honest, playful, and like I said did things on their own pace. I loved it and you can tell how genuine and careful they were of each other. They didn’t want to give off bad impressions especially towards each other’s fandoms. Which is why Sungjae constantly says, he’s not very good and expressing his feelings. He finds his own ways to show his affections and care and it might not be normal for others. But for him it’s his special way in showing he cares for Joy. Anyways, there’s so many other things we’ll learn from Sungjae and Joy even until the very end. I’m glad you’re enjoying WGM though and you should really take some time to get to know BTOB and listen to some of their songs. They’re AMAZING too with great personalities and INSANE humor.
