It’s easy to think that Sungjae is an extrovert because he’s just so funny, cheerful, and a prankster. But that’s just one side of him you know? You will learn that Sungjae also has a soft, shy, and conservative side to him especially when it comes to relationships or even when it comes to love. He’s very old school and as he mentions..he has an older sister that he is close to that looks after him and vice versa. When it comes to relationships especially love..sometimes Sungjae can’t really express his feelings well..so he does a lot of teasing or jokes around with that person. But he also is the type who is very protective and considerate. He takes his time and really wants to get to know the person. You will see his growth in this show when it comes to expressing himself, but he really is more of a take it slow kind of guy and really thinks about Joy’s feelings tbh. Also, because they are idols and fans are watching...he wants to remain respectful and I really appreciate that. There’s so many couples on WGM that are really good and comfortable with being lovey dovey and skin ship. But Sungjae and Joy were still young at this time 21 and 20 years old. How they handled their relationship was the right way in my opinion.

It’s just so genuine in my opinion, as I said before...Sungjae and Joy are very transparent people..they both wear their emotions on the sleeves or facial expressions. They both really started to bond and open up to each other with every episode NATURALLY. So when that final episode happened, you can also see their true feelings about everything. I really think they enjoyed and appreciated the time they spent together in WGM. That’s something they bonded over and they both talked very fondly about it long after the show ended. Whether they drifted apart since then or remained good friends or possibly in a relationship. I’m just happy they genuinely enjoyed their time on WGM and that’s all that matters to me. Their happiness at that time and you can tell they enjoyed it. ❤️
