When Momo was watching Mako dancing I was thinking how cool it would be to see them dance together. I'm getting a girl crush vibe from Mako too, so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out. In the teaser for season 2 she still has short hair.

I was so nervous for this episode since its their last chances to earn cubes and I cried when Rio was crying at the end of her teams performance cause shes my favourite I really want her to make it. The last girl Mayuka had 0 screentime the whole show and suddenly episode 9 they show her and give her all the cubes 😂 I wonder what goes through the minds of the show editors lool but i'm so happy for her and she seems nice

Sana and Momo are massively popular in Japan, surprisingly many people don’t know just how massive. Sana: She was the most searched female KPOP idol in 2019 and according to surveys she was the most recognizable Japanese celebrity working in Korea. Ranked 1st in a list where Japanese netizens voted for best looking KPOP idols. Her high-touch sales are the 2nd highest. Her Japanese fan pages on twitter have the most followers Momo: Her merch sells out the fastest in Japan, has the highest high-touch sales and she is the most popular in the Kansai region. Momo and Sana usually get the most views on Japanese fanmade YT videos. So, you can imagine how blown away these girls were to meet them, and why it was very important that they make an appearance. It makes a lot of sense that their Japanese fanbases would be staggering. I am sure these girls will never forget the moment Sana and Momo walked through those doors.

Mayuka really impressed me in this episode. Even though she wasn't doing well she remained positive minded and kept working towards her goal with a bright attitude. She did not despair or lose confidence in herself, and this didn't go unnoticed by JYP. Mayuka's popularity in Japan was surging after this episode, I suppose Japanese people are fans of a classic cinderella story. I suppose I am too because after this episode she became one of the girls I will be rooting for lol.

What about Mina? Is she just like an average Idol in Japan? Or was there another reason why she did not come to see nizi project?

None of Twice are average idols in Japan. Sana and Momo are just indisputably the most popular within the Japanese fandom and are the most well known to the general public. While Sana and Momo are massive in Japan, Mina still has the third most stable fanbase. I am sure they wished Mina could have been there so they could complete the J-trinity. However, as you can see Sana still had pink hair, meaning this would have been filmed during Mina's anxiety hiatus. This is the reason why she was not there, otherwise, I am sure she would have been!
