I'm new to stanning twice so forgive me for any incorrect info but I believe mina and momo are the lead and main dancers of twice. Rightfully so mina learns the choreo the fastest and is a trained ballet dancer and momo is just a powerhouse on stage but in my opinion jihyo is a very underrated dancer in twice. Her stage presence stands out and she captivates you with her big beautiful eyes. She learns the choreo the slowest so I think that's why her title is not lead or main dancer.

Mina's narration was incredibly precious. It was a great way to have her be there, even though she physically wasn't. And the fact that those are her translated lyrics from Feel Special just makes it more powerful. As for Jihyo, no she's not the main dancer, but her dancing has been improving amazingly lately. She is considered by most of Once to be the third or fourth best dancer in TWICE, behind Momo, Mina, and maybe Sana. It really depends on who you ask. Jihyo's stage presence is always out of this world.

The overlay of the vocal and the music is usually louder during broadcast to cover the sound and noise of the live audience and any static from the equipment, especially event this huge. They do sing live. U just need to be there to feel it.

Aaron actually, the whole performance is live, however there is always a backing track. In the beginning, because they aren't dancing, the backing track is quieter. And when they start dancing they turn it up more, but it's still live.

I like that you think she is the main dancer because for a main vocal and not a dancer, her dancing is amazing. However I also dislike that you think that because MOMO. Momo has been chosen as the best female Kpop dancer by 100 idols, as well as the most respected choreographer Lia Kim and also tons of other people. Lia literally called her a gift from the gods. She can master any kind of genre and is undoubtedly one of the best dancers in Kpop and got into Twice ONLY for her dancing. She was eliminated but brought back solely because of her dancing talent, remember? How can you forget her Aaron? Jihyo is not on the dance line because although she is great, she takes a long time to learn choreography and makes the most mistakes out of the members. Because you said this you now need to react to 15 Minutes of momo being the number 1 dancing machine, or else I'll get really mad!! No just kidding, but you def. should react to it

I honestly don't get how people look at jihyo for dance and not Momo. Momo's stage presence is amazing and when it comes to dance no one in the group goes harder than her. I dont mean to sound defensive or rude but like its really annoying how people try to rip main dancer role away from Momo when the girl so clearly deserves it and works insanely hard for it. I've been stanning Twice since debut and only recently have i started hearing people say this about Jihyo and its really aggravating because shes a great dancer and has gotten so much better over the years but none of the girls can compete with Momo when it comes to dance, and they know this like its not a debatable opinion its just a fact.

Please continue another twice series Aaron, First you must check "Twice Elegant Private Life" and than go check Twice TV series. there is 6 series, Twice TV1 begins, Twice TV2, Twice TV3 in Jeju island, Twice TV4, Twice TV5 in Switzerland, and Twice TV6 in Singapore. :)

Momo and Mina are the main dancers, which is decided by JYP himself. Take it with a grain of salt, but I believe he decided it based on how quick someone picks up choreography. Jihyo is the Leader and Main Vocal. At the time that Twice was formed she was considered 'overweight' to idol standards, although most of us agreed that so looked good. And she lost weight, grown muscles and boosted her confidence since her debut, so she has amazing stage presence and worthy of title lead/main dance now imo. But in interviews so was still named the person that would make a lot of mistakes and slow in learning new choreo.

Correction the main position is one. Momo as main dance, jihyo as main vocal, and chaeyoung as main rapper. Mina is the lead dancer same with nayeon and dahyun as lead vocal(center) and lead rapper, with that case the main position is one in every girl group not two, but on different situation that is change position too, like for example in feel special chaeyoung change her position as vocalist so in that case dahyun will be the main rapper, or in the different situation if the main position is not perform, like example in case of jihyo in signal era she cant perfom in live, but Jeongyon take her position because she is lead vocalist, as much as I know it will always be like that forever, I think that is the purpose of the classification of position in every girl group.

I understand what you mean with rotating positions depending on the song/performance and that fits Twice really well. However, it's not uncommon for larger kpop groups to have two 'mains'. However, I don't believe JYPE/Twice ever mentioned their positions of Twice besides Jihyo (Leader/Main vocal), Momo (Main dancer) and Chaeyoung (Main Rapper). I got that Mina was also a main dancer, because of their official profiles from KCON LA assuming that JYPE wrote and approved the profiles.

There are only a few dancers in Kpop that can compete with Momo. So to compare someone that is not a dancer or even think that it's not Momo that should be the Main dancer is ridiculous to me. Yes Jihyo is great, but if you look at only the dancing, and not stage presence or anything, you can see that Jihyo's abilities mostly come from a lot of experience and very hard work, while Momo is a naturally talented.
