Hey! This week has been a pretty busy week and I hope you'll be happy with the progress I'm making. If you still remember what I wrote last week, you might also remember that I talked about the ship's upgrade system and what role it serves in the progression of the game. I'll try to keep this development update a bit shorter this time 😅.
This week I've had some very appreciated assistance and with that assistance I managed to figure out the following things coding-wise:

  • Ship's Upgrade System is done ✔! To make this work, I needed to separate the layers of each facility in the ship so that you can see them as individual layers as well once you upgrade them separately. Once I got that working, I could also get the actual upgrading system done. There will be a page positioned somewhere better than in the gif from below and you'll receive more in-depth instructions about what you require to advance each facility to their next level. In this version I'm working on, you can actually upgrade the Entertainment Room so here's the gif of how the upgrade system looks in action.

  • Blackjack Minigame is mostly done! I've not only received help in making it, but some advice to keep the base code flexible for every environment and as such, it'll be a minigame that can be played in the city's casino as well (not just in the ship where the strip blackjack minigame with her crew happens) and will serve as an alternative way for your character to gather resources without breaking much of a sweat. BUT! You actually have to be good at blackjack, because each NPC has an actually smart AI and some even have more aggressive playstyles, some more passive so your character might have a difficult time keeping her clothes on during the "friendly" match with her crew 😉. I wanted this to be actually fun and engaging, not just a page where you click "play" and a loser is randomly chosen whom proceeds to lose a piece of clothing. Gif of the Blackjack minigame so far below.

As you can see, it still needs a few adjustments on the UI, but since it's already Sunday evening I don't have much time to fix it so quickly.
Regarding actual content:

  • After you upgrade your ship's Entertainment Room (becomes possible after the first bestiality quest mentioned in the last development post), you can invite Melissa and her crew for a party with your own crew. A Truth or Drink and a Spin the Bottle party games will happen and there will be a lot of choices you can make. I've already started writing it out, since I've finished planning it yesterday. Below you can see how big its diagram is.

Now, with those developments out of the way, there's the question of when this version will be ready. I know I said it will be ready by the month's end, but I can't promise that right now because there's still plenty to do and I will elaborate below what there is still left to do:

  • Plenty of drawings left to make and they sadly take some time because I put in a lot of effort into each to make them look as good as they can be.
  • Still have this Party Quest to finish. It will include lesbian content and it takes advantage of the Truth or Drink party game to shape up your character's hidden stats quicker (such as preferences, submissiveness, the openness towards some fetishes like Exhibitionism in fun questions). After the Truth or Drink party game there's the Spin the Bottle party game that emphasizes dares and after this party game I planned to include some more NSFW content.
  • Still need to write the Reaction Scenes (including the dares for the Blackjack minigame that occur when your character loses) and draw its images, although developing them doesn't take nearly as long as normal quests do.
  • And I've also developed some outfits lately (like the gym outfit) which I'll show in a Patron-Only sneak peek post sooner or later. I might also make a post for the sketches I've made so far, but not today because there's still work to do.
  • There are also plans for the ripped outfits, but they might come in v0.1.4 because it introduces more enemies for the village's plotline ending, so it makes more sense to have ripped clothes with more enemies.
  • I've also not forgotten about the Wet Outfits Poll I planned to after the Ripped Outfits Poll, but there is so much to do that I figure it can wait a little while longer, since there's not much time left until your character can finally visit the city!

So, I hope you'll consider these details in the eventuality that the new version won't be ready by the end of the month. I'm working a lot to make it happen, but I thought I should give you a heads-up. Also, what can I say is that even though it may not be ready by 30th November, it will definitely be in early-December since I'm planning v0.1.4 to be an ending-of-December release.
My goal to develop the village up to its plotline ending still remains. v0.1.3 which is the version I'm working on will set the tone for what's to come, and v0.1.4 will serve as the update in which she can finally upgrade her Engine Room, allowing v0.1.5 to be the first version set out in the city!
Thank you for reading this and I wish you a great ending and week.
