I apologize for the delay since the last update. New additions to this update are as follows:

  • On the base passage, you do not need to press the arrows anymore. You can just press the Back link and you will be returned to the previous page without any bugs happening.
  • Drew a background for the alien village, it will be the background for the passages that happen in the villages.
  • Wrote the story sequences up to and containing the third target. There are some extra story additions on the way to not make the game too obvious on what happens next. I would say it's around 65-70% done for the next version release.
  • Worked on some CSS for the game and you can see it in the screenshots. For more immersion, you can see the relevant images to your current passage on the background. Changed the opacity of the text block so that it will be a bit transparent, and also it auto adjusts itself based on the amount of text found within the passage.
  • Sketched some plans for a future UI. Hopefully by the time the version is out, underneath the character's image there will be a few squares containing the currently held items. An inventory screen shall also be made available. There is an inventory system within the game already, but it will be explored more thorough the Life Simulator component.


These days are slightly busy, so I'm trying my best given the available time. The next development update should contain more desired elements, but I will get into them as they have been developed to not say anything more than what actually is in the game at the time of the update.

The next release will be around 10th June. It will roll out first as an exclusive Patreon release and maybe I will add a debug version that allows you to skip through the story to the new parts, but that is difficult a bit. Instead, what I want to do is, at the character creation, for the player to be able to skip to a latter chapter (such as the one that starts the Life Simulator story sequence) with some options on the way that would allow them to choose what happened to them in the story up until that chapter.

The release may be a bit buggy, but I am putting more effort into checking for any unintended features on the way, such as clothes not appearing correctly or them overlapping each other, even though I fixed all occurrences I've noticed so far since the last update.

Since the story sequence in this release ends in a proper way, I am not constrained anymore to a linear system which means the next chapter and onwards will be entirely Space Life Simulator, with quests, deeper relationships to existing characters, events based on time and a fully fledged base system on the ship that develops with resources you gather on the way.
