"Charge Upfront" Is Happening (Patreon)

The "Charge Upfront" option for Patreon is going to be implemented here. Most of you who've been here for a long time, will not notice any change. New patrons will be charged the moment they sign up, in order to access the appropriate blog content, and will therefor be subsequently charged again at the beginning of each month.

What this DOES mean for everybody going forward is that I will be able to host the comic content here, instead of using links to my website sent as private messages to the over one thousand of you who are subscribed. Since the charge upfront option effectively creates a paywall, I'll be able to share .zip files of comic content in blog entries, directly.

This means no more waiting on the system to send out private messages to zillions of people, hoping the system is done processing everyone.

I'm going to implement this today. Tomorrow, I will be posting an entry that constitutes the content of private messages sent out at the beginning of July to $6+ subscribers, so those who are new instant-charged patrons will have access to July's rewards. From that point on, adult comic updates will resume as usual around the 5th of each month.
