My home rules: step on my property get a private property warning: leave now(refuse, call police and make damn sure to describe yourself and family and that you have a firearm, then do your best to describe the attacker, you don't want cops shooting the wrong person/s, When cops arrive do not move at all, ask officer for instructions as they may be uneasy of you as well because you have a gun out, cops will shoot if they feel in danger at all, Make damn sure your gun isn't pointing in their direction, they'll shoot you in a heartbeat), continue to approach my home, give aggressive tone warning that you dont wanna have to hurt them, attempt to enter my house give final warning 3 times (If you enter my home, i will not hesitate to kill you, i will protect my family and my home, repeat, this is your last warning, leave my home, the police are on their way.) Already inside? (If no kids) Lock room, grab gun, hide in ready spot withbest available cover, call police, wait. If attempts to enter room forcefully, Aggressively say get out, and immediately fire a warning shot at bottom of door, if they see a hole appear in the door they'll know it's a real gun on the other side(shotgun is a different story), then aim at them in case of an attempt to fire back (they'll freak and either flee or take cover, make sure you have available cover as well before hand), any attempt to attack you, shoot to wound, or if they are armed or within reach, shoot to kill, only if your skilled shooter shoot the knee. Keep your gun on them, stay back, don't let guard down. Keep eye on their hands. If stupid, they'll attempt to find another weapon. Tazers could work but you're taking a huge life or death risk with that. I strongly suggest installing audio security cameras to obtain hard evidence to help justify your choices. Capturing audio of you giving multiple warnings is very important in some stats as some want you to give one, or flee your home if possible. (I h8 that one, forced to leave your home if possible rather than defend it as you'll be charged)

Finally found the time to listen to this. If I’m being honest I find myself respectfully in disagreement over quite a few things you say but respectfully so. Your not raving or saying anything which in of itself is wrong. Part of that stems from the understanding of who we are and we’re we come from. Though both American you from the Deep South, me from New York, you white and me black. And our experiences as well, but I do feel better even if I don’t agree that I understand someone a little better and I feel like I do now. Thanks for sharing
