Grand Utopia v1.13 available ! (Patreon)

Hello everyone, the compatibility update (v1.13) is finally available! To update your game, download the attached file. Then simply replace the old grandutopia.scs file with the new one in your "mod" folder.

This new update follows the  upgrade of Euro Truck Simulator 2 to version 1.43. It is therefore a  compatibility update. Therefore, no new cities or villages have been  added. However, the bugs and mapping errors that have been reported to  me since the release of version 1.12 have been corrected.

The town of Meulan has been reworked to try to end the crashes that  many players have in this part of the map. To do this, the A6/A602  interchange has been removed (well, moved further to the A6/A7  intersection). This allowed me to divide the city into two big parts  with the placement of Cut Planes to optimize this area a bit better.

This version also allows me to prepare the arrival of the Mygotopia  addon. In this sense, the A6 motorway east of Meulan has been extended to  the new A7 motorway which will allow to reach Mygotopia by a new  mega-bridge of about twenty kilometres. In its centre, an artificial  island has been created to accommodate the border post between these two  countries. This island is accessible by everyone, as Utopians, nothing  prevents you from going to the border if you wish.

New coloured background for Grand Utopia

This update also comes with the  release of a new mod. Indeed, I now provide you with a coloured  background map, in the same style as the background map used for  Mygotopia. The latter, less sad compared to the current black/white map  background, will allow you to put a little cheerfulness in your game!  The mod is also downloadable from my Google Drive in the category "Other Mods (specific to GU)" or on TruckyMods.

Bonjour à tous, la mise-à-jour de compatibilité (v1.13) est  enfin disponible ! Pour mettre à jour votre jeu, télécharger le fichier en pièce jointe. Ensuite, remplacez simplement l'ancien fichier grandutopia.scs par le nouveau dans votre dossier "mod".

Cette nouvelle mise-à-jour fait  suite au passage d'Euro Truck Simulator 2 en version 1.43. Il s'agit  donc d'une mise-à-jour de compatibilité. Par conséquent, aucune nouvelle  ville ni nouveau village n'a été ajouté. Toutefois, les bugs et erreurs  de mapping qui m'ont été remonté depuis la publication de la version  1.12 ont été corrigés.

La ville de Meulan a été retravaillée pour tenter d'en finir avec les  crashs que de nombreux joueurs ont dans cette partie de la carte. Pour  cela, l'échangeur A6/A602 a été supprimé (enfin déplacé plus loin pour  le croisement de l'A6/A7). Cela m'a permis de diviser la ville en deux  grosses parties avec le placement de Cut Planes afin d'optimiser un peu  mieux cet endroit.

Cette  version me permet également de préparer l'arriver de l'addon Mygotopia. En ce sens, l'autoroute A6 à l'Est de Meulan a été prolongée jusqu'à la  nouvelle autoroute A7 qui permettra de rejoindre Mygotopia par un  nouveau méga-pont d'une vingtaine de kilomètre. En son centre, une île  artificielle a été créée pour accueillir le poste de frontière entre ces  deux pays. Cet îlot est accessible par tout le monde, en tant  qu'Utopiens, rien ne vous empêche d'aller jusqu'à la frontière si vous  le souhaitez

Nouveau fond de carte coloré pour Grand Utopia

Cette mise-à-jour s'accompagne  également de la publication d'un nouveau mod. En effet, je mets  désormais à votre disposition un fond de carte coloré, dans le même  style du fond de carte utilisé pour Mygotopia. Ce dernier, moins triste  comparé à l'actuel fond de carte noir/blanc vous permettra de mettre une  peu de gaîté dans votre jeu ! Le mod est téléchargeable également  depuis mon Google Drive dans la catégorie "Other Mods (specific to GU)" ou sur TruckyMods.
