Super Sketch Saturday: Dragon (Patreon)

Sixteen years ago an ancient and wicked ancient dragon terrorized a small village. One day a wizard came to the village and offered to solve their dragon problem for the price of a small fortune.  The wizard went up to the dragons cave and after several days and nights of bright lights and strange sounds the wizard returned with an infant child and said the dragon had been defeated.

The wizard gave the infant to a childless couple in the village to raise. They named her Barbara (placeholder name) and raised her as their own. She was a rambunctious child but otherwise normal until her sixtenth birthday when she woke up with horns and a tail. 

It turns out that all those years ago the wizard had either convinced or tricked the dragon into taking the form of a human infant. Perhaps in a bid to teach the creature humility. Barbara remembers none of this, but as the magic fades she must cope with an increasingly alien body and a village that largely holds her responsible for the misdeeds of her past life. 

There's also dragon slayers and cultists to worry about. If only she could find that wizard again, they may be her only shot at returning to an ordinary human life.
