Revamping and improving my art is a big undertaking.

I will answer a few questions you may have here:

Q: Why am I not finishing art and posting it like I used to?

A: I am building a foundation for all my future art.

I want color, style and characters to be consistent and vibrant! ^^

My foundation needs time and care to come together.

I'm bouncing around all my WIP art working out details so it feels cohesive and of a high quality.

Plan out and put in all the hard work now so future work will be easier!

Q: Why is color so important?

A: Color is one of, if not the defining trait of my art now. 

I want my Annie & The Mirror Goat project to have a sexy, spooky vibe. Color is super important for that mood!

Q: You're working on expressions?

A: My characters need more character!

My art is a bit stiff, especially with expressions.

I'm used to fan art where I build off of existing characters.
Now it is my turn to make super lewd, fun original personalities!

Likable characters are important!

TL;DR:
I am building a foundation all my future art will be based on. 

I plan out color, art style, character designs, personality, and facial expressions now and then build future art off the templates!

Work harder now so I can work smarter later!
