Allow me to use this opportunity to offer up a small tidbit about my work process !

Despite what everyone may think, the hardest part of my work process (and many artists as well) is actually the sketch ! Why, and how, you may ask ?

Well, although sketching requires less focus when it comes to physically putting line on paper, it's actually the phase that requires more mental concentration.

The sketching phase requires much trial and error - I can sometimes even go over a few drafts before deciding on a sketch that I like. But even further behind that is conceptualization, things like deciding the composition of the entire piece, applying perspective, and making sure the proportions are right.

This is why I always start my streams/timelapses with a near-finished sketch, otherwise sketching wil take up 60-70 percent of the time 😂

Just like in cooking, you have to take time to plan it out, choose the best ingredients, and making sure everything is in order, but once you got all the ingredients ready, onions peeled, the garlic minced, you just have to let it simmer ! Everything goes smoothly after that ~

The pose is mad cool! And that’s a good thing to note about the sketching phase, I’m still working on learning to even form a full body xD so hearing the process is nice!
