Happy Friday everyone!

We've been cooking something up for you all that we're really excited about. It's almost done, but we wanted to get you ready for it in advance. For now, file this firmly in "coming soon".

As you may have noticed, we've been on a little bit of a kick with retro title sequences for various TV shows. Mostly Star Wars with a detour into Star Trek. So far, the "joke" has been our dedication to the timelines of said shows. When they would have originally aired if they had been released in chronological order. For instance, Book of Boba Fett takes place after Return of the Jedi, so it would have been a show made in the 80s. You get it.

We conducted a poll on our Ahsoka video to see what people might want to see us do next and the clear winner was Obi Wan. We originally missed our chance back when Obi Wan was fresh because we were solely focused on producing Larry. We're happy to see people are interested in seeing us do Obi Wan though, because we're having a lot of fun with it.

The only issue for us is the timeline. If we stuck to our usual premise, then an Obi Wan show would have probably come out some time in the late sixties. Something about the swinging big band sound of that era just didn't appeal to us. Would it have been funny? Probably. But would it have kicked ass? Definitely not. And Obi Wan demands ass kicking. With that in mind, we dove back into the era that cemented the musical montage, the early 80s. Obi Wan is a man haunted by his past who has to pull himself together to get the job done. He doesn't need a brass section, he needs an electric guitar.

So stay tuned and get ready to jump back into the zone. There will be a short made for TV version and an extended full length video version, both of which will be available here as a timed exclusive. Until then, enjoy your weekend!

Love,

Craven + Zak
