Here is a little sneak peek preview of the Roman infantry armor work in progress. I've been at it the past few days, so let me show you where i'm at now :D

THis is still a mid detailed phase, I'm creating the parts as I go along, but leave room for some additional details or changes at the end.

The main goal  is to keep the "ancient" feel, but translated into modern sci fi armor, so we can't have too many ancient details and original ornaments, as many of them would feel outdated in a postmodern world.

The bicep armor will be made of 3 parts, linked with an elastic strap, so the inner part of the bicep armor is "free" so its more comfortable to wear. Same thing with chest/back armor, the sides of your body will be "free" so you can move around as you see fit.

Belly parts will be thinner so if one should need to sit down they can slide under the chest armor

The front chest piece is somewhat inspired by the mandalorian "diamond" and that piece will be removable. That piece can have ranks or battalion signaturer, or any custom text/marking you wish to add to it :)

I'm sure i'll update a few more things, next on the line are the gauntlets and i plan to make a slot for them so we can insert our smartphones .D

No need to say this is an insanely huge projects, at least 60-70 more hours to complete it, which will in term of days be a bit more as i also need to complete/prepare other patreon models, but i'm trying my best to keep it all coming with no big delays, so the armor should be ready for release next month :)
