Behind the scene: Shirley - 23 Aug 2024 (Patreon)

The last shoot with Shirley was in January, but this time she looked a little tired, as if she had a cold, and she did cough sometimes during the shooting.

Unfortunately, the cosplay costumes she brought didn't include cosplay heels and stockings, which she thought they were already included in the package, luckily, I bring pantyhose to every shoot now, but the character wears stockings, so we had to cut the waist of the pantyhose off to make stockings, however, they wouldn't stay in place and always fall down to the calves. As for the cosplay heels, I could only let her wear her sneakers, which looked pretty weird with the costume she was wearing, sorry for those who really like this character.

I asked her to bring her oldest and most worn sneakers to the shoot, I guess some of you prefer old shoes more than new shoes.

By the way, there was one clip that needed to use camera sound because the audio recorder ran out of battery during recording and the audio was not saved.

S1 theme

One of the members wrote an interesting script for Shirley's S1, the theme is about hypnosis, this video will have 3 angles and 4 scenes, including some dialogue and some model acting skills. Due to the need for more shooting time, I originally planned to lower the target number of the clip to 12+1 or 11+1, but after doing some shooting planning beforehand, I can still completed 14 clips this time.

To go with the theme of hypnosis, I decided to add an opening shot of her swinging the pendulum to each regular clip, and also recorded some sentences separately to add to the video in post, I thought if you were hypnotized by her, you would be able to hear her in your head even if she didn't speak, so I asked her to try to communicate with the audience using her facial expressions instead of speaking except for the pet play clip. I did have her say something during this pet clip, but her energy was low and she could be seen coughing sometimes.

I haven't checked the footage yet, but it should be fine, I'm just not sure if those sentences, which were independently recorded after shooting, will sound awkward in the videos.

Thanks to the member who write the script for S1, we will have something different this time, and it also reminds me few of my buried tiers. Some of you may remember that when I started shooting again last year, I announced that I would be adding new tiers including Screenwriter/Director/Producer, but I never released new tiers for them because I thought it would be too difficult to execute.

 The unfinished banners is still in my computer, 10+1 clips was the target number of clip for each video set before.

I was originally plan to release a 2 members only Director tier first but as of today it still hasn't been released.

Get back to the shooting.

S1 has 4 scenes, which also require some dialogue from the model. I expected that the model couldn't remember all the movement and dialogues, but if I constantly guide her during the recording, the video will need to be cut into many pieces, which might make the video look less smooth. So I made a 15 minute video with text instructions and voice over, had her put on wireless headphones, then mounted the phone above the camera and played the video so she could follow all the instructions without me interrupting the recording.

Here's the setup and you can see I had the iPhone mounted above the camera.

The halo was placed too high because it was broken and if she lowered the halo it would fall.

Pet Play

Sill good, but there were some wounds on one of her feet.

I asked her to buy us clay models for the shoot and these are the ones she bought and surprisingly they were very durable.

Old sneakers, she said she hadn't worn these shoes for a long time.
