Hello to all my SGC members - the weekend is almost upon us again :) Friday is usually blocked as my video day to shoot the lessons for every week, since I'm getting a huge belly tattoo today (sounded like a great idea, I'm sure it won't hurt at all) I had to record everything yesterday - that means I can already share the latest video with you here!

This week we discuss sweep picking and arpeggio composition, I composed an advanced section for this video to show what you can do with this cool technique. The video also features an announcement concerning my new online course, very excited for that one :)

I attached the PDF tabs, guitar pro files and practice backing tracks again for you in case you want to learn some parts of this composition - but one thing that I would love even more is to hear YOUR arpeggio composition over these chords! That's why I also exported a backing track with the chords only. It doesn't have to be super technical, try to come up with a short section that is working with the notes in each chord instead of relying too much on the F# minor scale.

Once again, the chords are:

F#m / Dsus2 / Asus2 / E

C#7 / F#m

Please send you contribution to bernthofficial@gmail.com and I will get back to you with some feedback :) Hope you have a great weekend!

Sweep Picking & Arpeggio Composition | How To Get Creative! [Sweeping Guitar Lesson]

In today's lesson we focus on sweep picking/sweeping and creative arpeggio composition! I show you a practical example that I composed for this video and we dissect it in detail to analyze each individual lick. This video is meant to give you a close look at my approach when I'm composing sweeping sections and I show you a couple of tips and tricks concerning that. I also reveal that this will be the topic for my new online course, there we will spend 10 weeks with learning the mechanical aspect and mastering all you need to know about sweeping technique & theory! Ok now that is something to chew on. Nice lesson. Thank you. I must check out your Arpeggio Hacks lesson first again.

Just downloaded the Guitar Pro files and they're missing the chords on the base session. I added on mine but it'd be nice to add it for those who will download it
