I think you're overthinking this. I think what "Geto" meant by 1 minute was the time the Prison Realm needed to open and entrap Gojo. So for that 1 minute to be fruitful, Gojo had to already be tired both physically and mentally, and in a chaotic state of confusion. "Geto"'s appearance was the last hit on the nail for that. Seeing "Geto" in person made Gojo shocked enough to lower his guard and let the rest of the minute pass.

In the manga it's more clear that it's actually a one minute's worth of time in Gojo's mind, as in, if he thinks of more than a minute's worth of things in his mind in one instant, it will count for the full minute the Prison Realm needs.

I feel bad for Hanami. He was the only good curse. Jogo and Mahito want to replace the human species because they consider themselves as the "real humans" (and the name "Mahito" in Japanese means "real human" btw). But all Hanami ever wanted was for humans to stop destroying nature. He considered humans as the children of the Earth and wanted them to sacrifice themselves willingly to save the planet. He never killed for pleasure. When facing the students in season 1 and asking them to be turned to sages, he even sounded as if he was crying. If you haven't noticed yet, in the last 2 episodes he's the only curse who hadn't killed a single civilian. Choso, Gojo and Mahito kept killing everybody around them, but not Hanami.

The minute was on gojos head when he saw the memories of past and it was over a minute in his head so the prison realm saw it with the eye in the middle and got him
