I always tell people that the one live action tv show and one cartoon tv show that everyone needs to watch that will change their perspective on tv shows as a whole are Breaking Bad and Avatar: The Last Airbender respectively. Very thankful to see y'alls reactions to both shows.

Aaron

cornett0

KingRex0302

Damnnnn, and with that its over 😭. Thanks for the reaction

ErendGoat

Walt also essentially became the anti hero just like several other main characters in stories such as eren

Artimes

If you want to see the fate of where Jessie's Journey Ultimately Leads beyond BB, then watch the Film. Its a great closure for that Character.

Artimes

Probably one of the best scenes I have ever seen in this entire show is that flash back to the very beginning when hank said, "get a little excitement in your life" and walt was like "someday". OMG that hit so hard after just seeing the whole series.

QuirklessEsty

I can't believe it's over! Enjoyed rewatching this show for the fifth time, and to do it with both of you being super invested was awesome! They have a lot of great content on YouTube regarding the final episodes some characters shot so I hope you get to see those. They make you feel so good :)

lalalala

watch el camino

YungZeus

Well, time to binge all the reactions now.

dex

Just how Walter didn't see that Jack had already made up his mind when he killed Hank, Jack did not see that Walter had already made up his mind before killing him. Thank you guys for the reaction, I enjoyed re watching the series with you guys. I hope to see El Camino and Better Call Saul reactions in the future, but I do think you guys should take a break and clear your heads with a different show unrelated to Breaking Bad. That way you guys don't get burned out

Artimes

That last line between Walt and skylar pretty much told the truth from the very beginning. We, the audience, always knew that he did this for his own selfish gains and because it was what gave him an adrenaline-fueled life. You know all the old sane “living on the edge of a broken dream”. This is pretty much walt in a nutshell. I think that is why Gilligan wanted to highlight so much awkwardness within his family life, even speaking to his son felt a little bizarre at times and he did not have the kind of strong mutual connections to the people around him. He loved them of course and would do anything to protect them but ultimately, he wanted more out of his life, and I think this moment paralleled with that scene from when he's speaking to that doctor tells the full story. The drug business awakened him out of this “dream” and to him this was his reality. The life he wanted gave him satisfaction, that made him feel superior and powerful. Anyways, such an amazing series. I am still hard pressed to try and find anything remotely like it in terms of directing. Even the camera work help engaged the audience to certain scenes, adding so much more depth to the cinematography. One of the best shows on television period!

Roberto Rojas

he switched the Splenda 🤣

jeffrey dorvil

You guys should watch from

Kyle Ashley

I love this ending and episode for so many different reasons but probably the main one is that it gives Walt a chance to redeem himself and his character to an extent and he returns to his true form. He uses his most valuable asset every step of the way.. his brain. Using Badger and skinny Pete with the Lazer pointer, killing Lydia by switching the Stevia, and building this crazy torrent to finally get revenge. It is all so Walter White and it was executed to perfection.

KingDolo

OZARK, OZARK, OZARK ,OZARK, OZARK,OZARK, OZARK!!!! NEXT PLEASE IT HAS TO BE ITS IN THE SAME REALM AS BREAKING BAD YOU GUYS WIL ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND BE HAPPY THAT U WATCHED OZARK!! NOT BETTER CALL SAUL NONE IF THAT IT HAS TO BE OZARK

Kyle Ashley

Walt is an anti-hero, he is not the good guy but he is also not the bad guy. Sure he did bad things and was selfish with a huge ego but he did love his family including Hank and in the end he went out on his own terms and got his sweet revenge and set it up so his family would end up getting the money he had left.

Rick Liu

Jason`s movie will make you happy.

adabkooo

what a journey 🥲

Shahbaj Mohammad

The reason he went after Lidia is because he knew she would kill Skyler after walts death. Hell she tried to kill her when walt was alive.... You keep saying he dosent want ppl to cook his product.. lol. Firstly he has the right to feel that way. Ppl like Jessie who learned well from him can only do 94% in an unfamiliar environment compared to his 99+% which he can obtain anywhere because he actually knows what he is doing. Ppl literally patent life saving drugs and instruments that are easier and cheaper to make than walts product.. Also he did do it for his family which is why he wants to leave the money for them, its just that he started enjoying doing it, yall enjoy doing youtube and nothing wrong in that.. Sadly he was enjoying making drugs. You wouldn't be saying its for himself if they showed u his son sitting on millions later lol. Its pretty dumb to say he was only thinking of himself. Whats also dumb is seeing u call walt dumb and being jumpy when he is taking abt jesse. He obviously could assume jessies statr but he had to improvise and say what he had to to get jessies whereabouts... ayayai

Sean J

great point about the hank being selfish statement. i know walt alrdy damaged his family but hank finished it off entirely 😭 he couldn’t accept his L & that he got played the entireee time by someone who was closer than ever to him. he completely knew about the final damage it would do to the family when they talked at that food table and still said fuck that basically. had he just stayed put in his higher paying/authoritative position he’d still be alive. he tried to play hero or “ clean up the streets “ when he was off-duty lmao

Shahbaj Mohammad

Thats dumb, he said it to make skylar feel better like he did time and time again. He started doing it for his family and leaving the money for them. Just that he started enjoying it. But him starting to do it for himself dosent mean it wasn't for his family lol.

InspectorDec

I would say The Sopranos is also a top tier show for them if they have not seen it.

Steph Motion

Y’all would love Snowfall or Power lol great shows

Artimes

He was roped into it because of his inability to pay for his cancer treatment and he did not want to burden his family. At that point he himself probably didn't even care of he died but he did not want to do that with his children or his wife however to give them no father or husband. So that’s why he decided that was his "out" so to speak, to live that lie and hopefully gain enough money and perhaps get the best treatment for his cancer. How ever that has nothing to do with him burning the guy’s car at the end of S1. From the start he was living on the edge, ultimately the direction his life took was terrible. He didn’t feel any sense of fulfillment with his personal life and career. That is why he went further and further down the dark hole of selfishness, greed and trying to become powerful because it made him feel more alive then he has ever been. The drug business gave him a means of experience an alternative seperate from his family and it empowered him. Again, i take you back to the conversation he had with the doctor when confronted with the question "why run away" that was the most honest answer he ever gave until the very end of the series.

R Y

@45:34 lol I thought the exact same thing right before you said it

Desto Samuels

They got the reflection shot by doing separate takes they usually have different set ups. There probably wasn't even actual snow on the car. Set designers are very good at creating props so I'm sure they cheated the shot with the lights with two different shots maybe removing the fake snow off of one side. Either way it's weird continuity

cornett0

ngl I think walt was the best family member at the start and ended up being the worst at the end. I think the key message of this story is that "the ends don't justify the means".

Setsuna Yuen

You guys seriously need to watch Better Call Saul. It will complete the whole universe lore. It's a prequel with a proper sequel wrap up to Breaking bad universe. Walter white and many other did made their cameo in there as well.

Setsuna Yuen

Better call saul is definitely a necessary to watch to complete the breaking bad lore.

Aqua

I don’t understand the Jesse hate from Steph.

2023-11-07 22:10:36 I think when Walter was hanging over that crib, saying goodbye to his daughter for the last time. Skyler had some kind of change of heart about him. In the closing scene of 0504, 'Fifty-One' Walter tells Skyler she will change her mind about him. I think if there was ever a moment it was this. Something a lot of people overlook is Walter took out so many people in the drug business that you could say he positively affected it in that regard. Also Gretchen & Elliot spoke on Charlie Rose about their 28 million dollar charity grant announcement for drug abuse treatment centers in the south west. That would not have happened without Walter. Walter builds a robot in the desert to save Jesse & his family which is a call back to 4 Days Out when Jesse suggests building a robot to save them in the desert. 4 Days Out is Aaron Paul's favorite episode from the series. Walt's bullet taking him out feels almost biblical how only God himself could take Jesus' life from him at crucifixion and the lab's skeleton form crosshairs over Walter in that final frame (the lab representing an extension of Walter) basically hinting at Walter dying on his own terms. Walter, Mr. Lambert has on khaki as a call back to his wardrobe from the pilot, his dress pants from the opening scene with a green shirt for Breaking Bad/the periodic table and the inside of his jacket is blue, for well, you know.
2023-11-07 16:00:01 The title of this episode is intricate. FeLiNa, is iron, lithium and sodium. Iron in blood, lithium in meth and sodium in tears. Felina is an anagram of finale. Its also the name of the woman in the song that Walt hums while building the robot in the desert. I think when Walter was hanging over that crib, saying goodbye to his daughter for the last time. Jesse was a snitch stunod who used the very paperclip from the picture of Andrea to get her killed which was the whole point of the picture…

Anthony Chavez

whens the movie el camino reaction???!?

Dominic Dinkins

Great reaction for this show guys. BB is actually one of my favorite shows and I've avoided doing a rewatch (first watched in 2019) because of everything yall said. It's so heavy and depressing but it's so good. I honestly forgot a lot of what happened, but it was fun watching it again with yall. Hope yall do Better Call Saul soon. It actually tops BB for me (by a hair).

Are you guys gonna watch El Camino
