Samuel Romeo

it is murichio. the anime , the way they phrase it made it confusing, it wasn't translated well

Giyuu

I literally just watched this on my own wow 😭

Samuel Romeo

the dialogue at the end was the older brother. he was remembering the words of the older brother ( the mean one) while fighting. It was super confusing the way they did it.

Space

The way the anime handled the last scene was terrible. I can't blame yall for being confused. Giving them the same VA was dumb af

athena zatanna

I don't think he was tapping into any sun breathing power when he raged. I think he just raged overall and all he saw was red and anger and then went ape shit lol

athena zatanna

Same for when sanemi fought his mom until sunrise . These kids are just built different

Swervo

I mean they are twins and twins in real life sound the same most times so why wouldn’t they give them the same va

JT

Yh also doesn't help it's the same voice actor saying it 😅

BonWeng

Since the translations don't do it justice, I thought I'd provide some insight to some of the language-barrier. Also it's the title of the episode, so I thought maybe some people may appreciate this. The "Mu" in Muichiro is written with the character for "Without." So when his brother said his name was short for incompetence, he used the word "mu no," which means without ability. When he called him meaningless, he used used the words "mu imi," which means without meaning, or without significance. And finally, when he called him infinity, he used the words "mu gen," which means without limit. The word "without" is the key here

BonWeng

Not terribly important, but as someone who does occasional translating, I couldn't stand it lmao

waleed

the dead brother was talking at the end of the episode

KingRex0302

Yeaaa, I was also a bit confused towards the end. I knew the dialogue at the end was his brothers thoughts. Overall dope episode. Up until this moment, Muichiro felt underwhelming compared to the other Hashira that we've seen so far (Tengen and Rengoku). Doesn't help that this season is only 11 episodes I believe.

Frederick

When Muichiro lost his memory, he took on Yuichiro's personality. Now that he's got it back, he's back to his old self, and the Yuichiro in his head bids him farewell.

Giyuu

I think the mark showed up on his cheeks cause that’s were his wounds were at from the needles I thinkkkkkkk

Netsureim114

lmao i don't understand why so many reactors got confused...it was very obvious the dead brother was talking to muichiro...i mean they even showed yuichiro crying and saying sorry i couldn't be more gentler than you...and why would protecting others means muichiro's personality took over him...muichiro even says i acted like my brother when i had "amnesia" basically it was other way around and his real personality came over when he remembered his memories EDIT: i feel like they're needlessly complicating it lol... it's just simple as he took on his brother's personality when he had amnesia and became himself when his memories came back...not that when "he goes in this mode, he becomes like this and whenever he's not, he goes like this" EDIT 2: i was about to comment they got it but noooo loool don't go that route...you almost got it...it was him just remembering his late brother's last words not him talking as his brother lmao

Netsureim114

giving them same VA was a right choice to me but they could have just shown yuichiro when he talked, not muichiro...that way less people would have gotten confused lol

Ricardo Rivas

The way they did that whole segment was REALLY confusing. To be honest, that would have been a GOOD plot twist.
