Not true there's multiple characters with sensory abilities besides Tanjiro. Hell Inosuke sensory abilities are better than Tanjiro and Urokodaki has the same advanced smell

Not that crazy tbh. We see this in multiple shows where once a character is liked their behaviour is often excused. Thats a very human thing to do. Sanemi is presented as a vicious hothead at first. Giyu is presented as calm. People will tend to like Giyu more. I see it all the time in shows and in real life.
