PEAAAAAAK. I forgot the convo between walt and Skyler happened this episode. This was def the episode i ended up just not really supporting either skylar or walt. I love them both because thier characters are so good but they doing wild stuff. Every Season gets better yall!.

Kyle Ashley

Steph is right though.. Skylar doesn't have any proof and really never has. Her reactions come from only what she believes and from the outside looking in.. it seems like an over reaction.

16:09 is such a good shot, with Hank holding the donation box with Walters Picture and in the background the the "Wanted" whiteboard with the "Wanted" right over Walts head. But yeah, Season 3 will be dope, this is were it gets really good.

Devante Vickers

The whole donation thing isn't about pride, more of guilt. Walt is still very prideful though.

Wallet

Waltuh, go on home Waltuh.

You let a guy's daughter die, and it gets back at you by making planes crash over your house. If that's not a practical demonstration of karma, I don't know what it is.

This episode's theme is innocence and the color pink represents it. Hollys dressed in pink clothes. Holly and Jane both had rolled up towels placed behind them while laying on their side. Jane wore pink lipstick. There is a pink teddy bear and a girl falling on the mural in Jane's room which represents the fall from innocence, Jane's death, the passengers falling from the planes and more specifically the child who played with the bear while relating it to Walt's family and Jesse's soft spot for children even. The teddy bear relates to Jesse's actions involving Jane too. You could say Jane was originally innocent when she first met Jesse judging strictly off her 18th month chip. In the beginning of 'Phoenix' there is a weathered pink teddy bear laying lifeless on the ground outside in that same episode Walt turns down his daughter's birth for instead a deal with Gus, trading and leaving behind the innocence of his newborn for supplying more substance and even destroying the innocence of people's lives like Jesse's also Ted was there for her birth instead of Walt. Then Walt is watching a nature program about a mother elephant & her calf as Skyler sings a lullaby to Holly in her room. When Jane is on the phone with Walt she says: "do right by Jesse or I will burn you to the ground" I think of a phoenix rising from the ashes a part of Heisenberg representing the phoenix when he let Jane die something snapped, a new side of him was revealed, a darker evil arose because Jane was not an immediate threat to Walt & Jesse in that situation unlike previous times with others. In the beginning of the season Walt said he needed $737k for his family while the sound of a plane flew over him and Jesse. The plane that crashed was a boeing 737. Walt visiting the crack house made him aware of the impact he's making and what his actions are fueling and the substance abuse is even linked to Jane's father Don crashing the planes. In a interview with Vince when asked about the significance of the bear's eyeball he said it represents the all seeing eye of God. I believe this series is about self-deception, to which everyone has a propensity. The pink salmon sweater confirms that Walt is directly correlated to it all in one way or another
