As promised I wanted to share with you guys my half marathon (13.1 miles) experience 🥰

After having Ari (our 2nd child) I was going through a lot of mental hardships. I needed something to help cope with it and running was that for me.

I signed up for my first ever race back in October and had 3 months to train. During training I was running 3-4 days a week (12-20 miles per week). I learned so much about the sport and unexpectedly fell in love with it.

Fast forward to January 29th, race day!

Throughout the race I pretty much stuck with the 2 hour and 30 minute group. The miles felt extremely long. At times I felt like I ran 7+ miles when in reality I just had hit mile 6. Thankfully, I met some awesome people throughout the run, talked about life and our families. I finished 2 minutes before my goal (2 hours 28 minutes) pretty happy about that 🙂

This is not my last race I would like to do 1 or 2 more this year. Let me know if you guys would like me to capture my half marathon prep VLOG STYLE 🤪
