- You guys hit the nail on the head, the symbolism of Homelander killing himself is powerful, and in this case it references Homelander killing one of his only weaknesses. - Another great representation of how Politics & Businesses work, Stormfront pretends and campaigns that she's "for the people" but given her conversation with Homelander you understand that it's just an angle being played. Any business worth its salt knows that the ultimate goal is profit, so you don't just pander to your fans, you sell to your haters...in the end, you still win and that's what Stormfront is doing, using the hate against Vought to help sell Vought.

Season 2 was awesome, and season 3 is even better. I had to binge it after watching along.

u'll be surprised of how many people fall into the "shes killing all innocent" narrative because of Homelander. But its all good they got that now

This episode is an outstanding Characterization episode. You see Hughie, MM, and Starlight go on a road trip together, and it's kind of the first time Starlight teams up with The Boys. The little scene of her wanting to help a traffic accident does show MM that she's a good person. And I didn't really notice it when I first watched it... but there's parallel in Butcher/Becca's storyline to Hughie/Starlight's storyline. There's a lot of love in each relationship, but Becca and Starlight each choose to distance themselves so they can keep Butcher and Hughie safe.

2023-01-19 18:44:33 Antony Starr as Homelander is fantastic. It's one thing to be to ham it up as a beloved Superman-like character to the in-universe public... but to show all the menacing intimidation... the ticks and flinches of his insecurity. Amazing actor!
