The ost that plays during the battle of Kenpachis 🔥🔥😳 plus the eerie change of tone from Unohana . Also back in SS arc there's a backstory of Yachiru & Kenpachi the dialogue forshadows some stuff from this reveal & other stuff let me just leave it at that . Yall should check the episode out again

Kenpachi is the title of the person who kills the previous one. So you get it by killing the last kenpachi. But the kenpachi we know actually just uses it as his name because he never had a name maybe he didn’t know his parents or something but he was never named. And his last name zaraki is the name of the place he came from. So he literally got no name. It’s the same deal for kenpachi’s lieutenant. The little girl. She didn’t have her name. Her last name kusajishi is the name of the place she came from and kenpachi gave her the first name yachiru because of the person he admired. Now we know who that person was. It’s unohana. Kenpachi we know is actually the 11th kenpachi. Normally the title can only be passed on by killing the previous one. But there are 2 cases where it hasn’t. First is unohana. She’s still alive. So the second kenpachi somehow got the title without killing her. The other time is the 8th kenpachi. That dude only appears in a novel which takes place before the fullbring arc. I hope they animate it but the chances are really low cause it’s been out for ages and not even translated to English. Anyway that dude is almost immortal so instead of killing him they stuck him in muken, the same place unohana and kenpachi are fighting now. Aizen is also there in muken.

actually in the anime they only said that squad 11 captain can only be a kempachi, its not a reincarnation of the same dude (that was just how you interpreted it) I doubt the anime will cover it more in detail
