Lot of reactors have a lil trouble with fully getting the first episode unless they've played the game or are completely focused (which is nigh impossible for a reaction channel, you got a show to put on!) So David mentioned he sells "XBDs" for the doc at school, XBD = Extreme Brain Dance. A brain dance is similar to a video but recorded from inside your body so it's first person. Watching it back you feel what the person recording it felt. So basically the first thing we see was an XBD of that psycho who attacked the police, then the XBD of that guy getting it on with three chicks. So the first was basically a first person snuff film and the second just smut. One thing that's easy to miss was you see on the news that David's mom was an EMT on the scene of the Cyberpsycho from the XBD and the news mentions that one of his implants mysteriously went missing. So that explains how he got his hands on such a high end implant. Oh and Mel was asking about Eddies. After America fell and the New United States rose, Night City (which is an independent city state inbetween SF and LA) adopted the "Euro Dollar" which most people on the street abbreviate to EDs or Eddies.
