I keep seeing people (not necessary here) saying that Eren telling his father to get the founding makes him a villain, but my question is, wasn't Reiner and Bertolt going to attack that same day anyways? So was he supposed to stay quiet and let everybody inside the walls die?

kinda fucked up eren indirectly killed his mom, by not telling his father when the wall gets attacked and grisha was begging in that scene wanting to save his wife but eren wouldn't give him the memory.

eren doesnt know when the walls get attacked nor did he know if he saved bertolt, the titan would end up going to carla. So in a way yes its his fault but he also didnt know soo its complicated

He did know, even Grisha knew, eren had his dad come on this specific day so he wouldn't be there to save his mom.
