I love the attention to detail in the last episode of book one. Notice how they constantly reference push and pull with Tut and La, when the moon spirit is killed and aang goes in the giant koi fish form but his water bending is ONLY pushing motions. Water benders move in push and pull motions when bending but since the moon is gone aang only pushes. It’s such a subtle detail but it adds so much to what is said about the spirits being in balance with each other

Lol not trying to be mean but y’all miss some details and big moments in the show like when iroh said to prince zuko that ever since he lost his son and then said to him i think of you as my own and when zhao grabbed the fish the waterbenders couldn’t bend no more so katara didn’t have her water bending healing power

Its not right about women inferior to men base on this show/cartoon but you gotta know its a tribe and back in the ages every single countries on Earth, women duties are just to cook and feed their babies, and take care of their husbands. Today current tribes and small villages still follow that tradition. That is the only duties. America was also once like that just a few couple decades ago.

By the way a cool thing I heard about the Avatar State, the voicing is actually meant to be a jumble of all the past avatars with the current (in this instance Aang) being the dominant voice to be heard. So whenever I see the Avatar State and hear him speak, nothing but goosebumps
