I mean, if I had functioning taste buds I'd likely be twice the size I am now, just looking at my mom and sister...

So yeah, Hana smokes. Bad Delinquent. I showed it off in a promo before the comic launched, but it's the first instance of her doing it in-story. 

Maybe a certain blondie can help her buck the habit and replace smokes with sweets?

A certain Blondie, huh? It's definitely Sakura. In all seriousness, this is another excellent page. As mundane as it may be, I think you, particularly, did a really great job of drawing the vending machine as well as the redraw of your old cover image for the VHS. Great stuff!

I remember that promo page, but haven't been able to find it since. Poor girl. Nicotine's useful for immediately relaxing and was apparently used by soldiers in one or both of the world wars to help cope. I'm taking that as meaning 'Hana's in desperate need of something to help her de-stress', so hoping she can break the habit. This doesn't actually have anything to do with the 'quitting slows down metabolism' aspect, do actually wish for her health to improve (fat doesn't count in fictional settings). Admittedly though, if it helps her plump up, it IS a bonus.
