Alright now for the update on what I'm up to, first off I am aiming to get a halloween themed animation soon but that's a work in progress, and honestly it may be a little dry  in posts for now until they're done, and that is also because I've been using my spare time to learn some new things in blender. That's the gist of it, if you're interested in more details read on.

On the more technical side of that, I'm figuring out some methods to use blender's new hair system for my characters although I don't think the difference will be that crazy or noticeable compared to the current method, I believe it'll be worth it since simulating it seems to be a bit better plus some other customization options.

And one other thing that has taken a lot of my time is 2D/Toon/anime style shading, now that is a godamn rabbit hole and not very straightforward compared to your usual PBR, "realistic" style rendering. Thankfully I've learned quite a bit of what I wanted to in that end, and I've been looking forward to trying something different from my usual style and characters, however it'll take another while until I setup the characters for an animation plus the scene and whatever else comes up.

Frankly I do get a little anxious going a while without having much to show for it until it's "ready" but that's just how it is in those situations, I think it'll be fun and worthwhile in the end. Thank you for patronage, I'll be back.
