That's right... he's back.

I'm excited to announce an all-new original Mandrill story. This time, rather than expanding on his time in either the DC or the Marvel Universes, I'm taking him in a whole new direction -- bringing him face to face with Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup.

Inspired by the art of The Pit, this story will take place 15 years after the events of the cartoon show, in a world where  the Powerpuff Girls grew up to keep fighting crime as young women. Ms. Bellum is now Mayor of Townsville, and most of city's supervillains have been put behind bars... until a mysterious man-ape arrives on the scene. But this isn't Mojo Jojo... it's a new threat, unlike anything the Girls have ever faced. This time, they may have finally met their match.

Take all my money!! Anything with Mandrill is amazing! Would love to see him travel to Toon Town and corrupt/enslave Jessica Rabbit. ;) THIS though, is going to be amazeballs!

This looks good. I remember seeing that design on The Pit's page. The big problem here, I believe, is that the Powerpuff Girls are already dressed in way too skimpy clothing, before even meeting Mandrill. Especially Bubbles, she's supposed to be the sweetest and most innocent one and she's got the most whorish clothes of the three. The Pit's design for the girls should be an end- or middle of story one, while or after the girls are "corrupted" by Mandrill, probably not something they wear at the beginning. The Buttercup design is the most okay one. I can imagine her wearing something tight but practical, although the heels don't really fit.

I hear what you're saying, but this wasn't the kind of story where they could really go through multiple outfit changes. Plus, I wanted to play up the jailbait/barely-legal aspect of having 18-year-old Powerpuff Girls, giving the sense that they've almost grown out of their old outfits and identities, and their womanly bodies are busting out of their clothes. I didn't really use any of the Pit's designs straight up, these are all original. And with Bubbles, I will say, the approach I take in the chapter is that she's the most innocent but also the most inherently bimbo-esque and easily manipulated of the girls. You'll have to read the chapter to find out more :)
