You can use the patches to upgrade any version beginning with 0.7.5a1 to version 0.7.6a1, just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use a patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.

Walkthrough:

Story 26 - The Blank Spot: It’s pretty straightforward. Agree to go for a quick etherwalk with Raeain the afternoon. After that, agree to go in the night. After you’re done, you’ll find Lyriel staning at the front door in the afternoon, deep in thought. Talk to her, agree to take her to see the thing. After you return you’ll find Lyriel talking to Cait in the library the very next day. Join in, and that’s it for now. But the possibilities…

Naomi 24: You’ll find Naomi near Cait’s room in the evening. After you witness the scene, wait for a few days. Then you’ll find Naomi trying a different approach in the morning when Cait is eating, and doubling down in the afternoon when Cait is about to start her studies. No dice.
