Domina Cards (Patreon)

Quick announcement for you. I've said before that I've given the development of Maple Hills College over to some of my friends at the Rose Grove before. Well, you may remember that I was planning to add some 'Domina trading cards' as collectibles in the game when I was still developing it. I was using full AI art for these back then, as it was just a gimmick and not really worth hiring a full time artist to design them all. As a result, they didn't look that great.

Well, turns out we know a thing about drawing now! The Rose Grove looks very into this kind of thing too, so the trading cards are still happening. I've taken the responsibility of designing the cards myself, as I'm also planning on using them in the Daemonum Imperatrix wiki for its various lore pages. I've just finished adding some more pages there btw, so you can go check some more of Katrina's lore if you're interested. Gonna start with Madeline next.

I initially commissioned a card template from Ruby's original designer and artist, but I ended up just making my own template in the end. Note that the creature art uses some generative AI to help me with drawing, especially the shading, like in our Ruby designs. They're also made in an oil style, that I personally like more than what we're traditionally drawing for Domina, and I found the opportunity to do here lol. Hope you like them!

Btw I made up an entire ruleset for this hypothetical card game, kinda inspired by the abandoned Elder Scrolls: Legends game, so the card effects etc aren't just for show.
