The community has voted, it's time to announce which comic has been selected to be remastered for our patrons! 

Reminder: RHB Warriors and Masters have increased voting power, so results that appear to be tied may not be when the tier of each vote is considered.

Winner: My Girlfriend's Girlfriends

Adjusted Score: 12 Votes!

Runner Up: Double Vision

Adjusted Score: 11 Votes!

Commentary:

It was inevitable this day would come: AN UPSET!

There were 14 patrons who voted in this poll. 8 were cast for Double Vision, while 6 were cast for My Girlfriend's Girlfriends. But in this case, despite getting less overall votes, it's MGG which has come out on top!

How did it happen? Checking the results, RHB Masters and their triple voting power unanimously supported MGG. RHB Warriors were almost split, with 1 extra vote going to Double Vision.

This is the closest poll result we've ever had and our first upset. Yet I'm keenly aware that we had a lower than expected participation from our community. It's important to stress that every Disciple, Warrior, and Master should have their say in the art we make. Hopefully we can get them all to turn out for the next poll in November.

Behind the scenes, we wondered if Yuri content was popular enough on its own to win, but we wonder no more!

In a way, it's fortunate that MGG was picked. The reality is that Double Vision was created much more recently and therefore already close to being its best quality (though increased resolution is always great). MGG however is quite old and will get a significantly larger boost in quality from remastering. SHADE is even planning to rebuild the park background now that the results are known! ^_^

Still, we can't overlook the fact the more "popular" book did not win this poll. We don't want to disappoint the majority our fans. As consolation, we'll look for a chance to remaster Double Vision early next year (no poll required). So DV supporters should not look at this as a defeat, but rather a delay. While we can't do this for every poll, given that this comic won "the popular vote", we think it's the right thing to do.

Look for the MGG art to be posted before the end of the year! And be on the lookout for our next poll, which will be our most  hardcore offering yet!
