APRTN prep work 06 (Patreon)

 Finally, you can meet another one of the protagonist trio - make some space for the Monk!

 These are a bit dated from when I was in a creative slump in the end of the last year, so at the same time that these have the basic essence for the character (body shape, general color palette, head and face), after I've resumed designing him this last month  he had a lots of improvement on his design! 

This was mostly me doing the first tests for him, trying to draw him for the first time. Some things I got down in this try, though!

Firstly - what a hunk right?! He's big and loud!

> These were his first head tests! His big grin is present here, but I thought the design was too edgy - as in full of little edges, and with that widow's peak, it brings something villainous to mind.

> His head design is more inclined to give this vibe - tender and fun, but rough.

 Also did you notice how the Monk looks so different from the the Alchemist...? That's why the three protagonist all come from different nations! And I really wanted to make it very clear in their design.

 These are pretty rough, but the next ones will surely look sharper, and I will be posting more about him soon. Hope he gave you a good first impressions though! (((:
