Wanted to work in this project again to refresh my head! With this one done, there's only one more to go. ((:

Jurema is a indigenous brazilian! I wanted to try playing with extremes on her design: she has traditional old elements along modern counterculture. She has an aloof face but her persona is filled with rage. She's a street artist!

Did you know Brazil used to have more than 2000 tribes and nations(and spoke more than 1000 languages!) before the arrival of colonizers? Nowadays, approximately 200 of that number remain, scattered across the country.

Cunhambebe was the elected chief of the Tamoyo Confederation, a military alliance between tribes against the portuguese. Said to be fearless and having uncommon strenght!

Icamiabas are a fabled woman warrior tribe that lived in the Amazon region. Historians say spaniards going down the amazon river from the andes called them "amazons" due to the similarity to the greek legends. Oh, eurocentrism!!!!

>Here's the process for the base I used for her!

>Rough sketch for cunhambebe! Wanted a nice aggressive gesture, leaping to attack!

>Structure pass!

>Then final sketch pass. He had sneakers in this one, looks stylish right? but I preferred him going barefoot for the final version!

> Lines, lines!

> Pass for primary shadows!

> Pass for the secondary ones!
