Whenever it rains - Rain Spirit 01 (Patreon)

 Here's some experimentation I did for the rain spirit! I had lots of fun experimenting for this character, as I always like an excuse to experiment with traditional hairstyles.

 I'm going to dwell more into this topic when I post the outfit experimentation I did for him, but for most part I wanted him to have an east asian vibe, without making him look too japanese.

 These are some ridiculous ones that I honestly did just for the sake of being silly! like the first in the second row, his goatee is just the kanji for rain (雨). But I loooooove silliness in design, as you already know!!

 I wanted to do some long haired ones as I've seen some old art depicting men with those hairstyles but it's interesting how they look nordic, isn't it?! It's so interesting how we can associate it,

 Also I wanted to explore a looot with eyebrows in this one! The base is the same (I drew an eyebrowless brow for it), but I played with eyebrow shape and position, to the point that some heads even look like they have different faces. I've been thinking a lot about that!
