Captain Marvel's Socks -- BONUS Patreon Exclusive (Patreon)

So before I start talking about the piece itself, yes, this is a brand-new Patreon Exclusive. Yes, that's two in one month! You lucky people, you. This piece started out as a pencil illustration, on a small Bristol pad (which can be seen on my Instagram and Twitter accounts). It was one of many of my pencil pieces which I've since scanned, and retouched and colored digitally. It's really going back to my original format, where I did everything in pencil, and then moved it over to Photoshop. I quit that method because pencils just took longer, especially since I always ended up fixing a lot of mistakes digitally, like proportion errors -- the same happened with this one. I tried just doing the digital lineart on top of the original pencils, but I slowly came to the realization that the proportions, the positioning of the arms and legs, were all way off, not to mention the costume was inaccurate; I had done this originally when I had only a few low-resolution screen grabs from Endgame, but now I have the Art of Endgame book, which has beautiful concept art of Captain Marvel's new suit in glorious high-resolution. c;

So, I ended up scrapping and redoing most of the original figure, with the exception of the head, the chest, and some details on the hands and socks; everything else was pretty much redone from the ground up, including the feet.
