Have you seen Deadpool and Wolverine yet? It's a lot of fun, and a nice breath of fresh air after all the slop we've been getting in the past few years from the MCU. Not the most intelligent or deep movie, but not only do we not expect that from a Deadpool film, it also makes up for it by just being a fun watch.

Cassandra Nova was pretty creepy in this kind of spaced-out, alien way, and Emma Corrin played her brilliantly. I knew I had to draw her after I watched the film.

This piece is unfortunately something I got 90% done with, and then that last 10% took a ridiculous amount of time. I get these speed bottlenecks when approaching completion. Part of it is no doubt due to my computer, which gets laggy as the number of layers goes up, but the more time I spend on a piece, the more likely I am to sink into obsession over little details. And the crazy thing is, spending all that extra time doesn't always result in an apparently-better end result. I need to self-regulate; I have to devote a set amount of time to things, and stick to that as closely as possible, lest I spend an inordinate amount of time on things that, at the end of the day, don't matter.

Anyway, more stuff coming in the next day or two, so stay tuned. :D

Beautiful! Although I’m both terrified and aroused at the thought that she might play with my brain with her toes…
