We've been posting these on Discord as they come out, but it occurred to me that I haven't been updating you all, so here's the scoop on the last major Patreon build of the vertical slice preview!  Future patch notes will be posted here as well.  If you're a Patron at APC tier or above and haven't played the Patreon build, check it out at  https://gunnerheatpcdev.itch.io/gunner-heat-pc-patron-build/patreon-access

Vertical slice Patreon preview has been patched to version 20200529.2

Changelog

Fixed a glitch in free cam control that could lead to the game's camera rolling over or panning unevenly
Reduced complexity of physics calculations for NPC vehicles to lower CPU load
Fixed a bug that would prevent BRDM-2 reticle from being illuminated
Removed a bug that would lower FPS significantly on some systems 

Vertical slice Patreon preview has been patched to version 20200529.1

Changelog

Removed default analog mappings and added a toggle in the options menu (Esc) to enable joystick support.  This will ensure that players will not get unwanted input from peripherals that are plugged in while GHPC is running.  Those who wish to use controllers can still manually enable the option and assign these mappings. 

Vertical slice preview 20200529 is now live for Patrons!

Notes

This is primarily a quality-of-life update with many small improvements, most notably related to inputs and controls.

Changelog

Added remappable inputs for every control in the game, configurable in the launch window
Removed axis control inputs that would pick up pedals and other peripherals as a left turn
Added analog support to accelerator and brake
Created default mappings for game controllers for most core controls (and the rest can be set by players)
The "ready" lamp on the T-72A's TPD-K1 gunsight now functions
Added master volume control in Esc menu; this will remember your last setting for later
Added 100mm gun firing and reload sound
Added 125mm gun firing and autoloader sound
Updated Patron names in credits
Improved positioning of controls on HUD
Improved realism of T-72A suspension stiffness and ride height
Reduced gun recoil on M60A3 TTS and T-55A
Fixed a bug where switching off of a weapon while holding the trigger would allow it to keep firing forever
Fixed the M85 machine gun on the M60A3 TTS having no elevation limits
Fixed sabot petals not appearing after the first APFSDS round fired
Fixed sabot petals stopping in midair
Fixed gun barrels disappearing from view when elevated
Fixed suspension swing arms flipping outside wheels when vehicles were tilted
