Hello everyone!

What a week this has been! I originally got a bit behind due to a bit of laziness and a small lapse in motivation, but I caught back up and then some!

I'll get right onto it. The script is finished but there are a few points here and there I need to polish/correct still. According to my schedule, I should have been finishing the recording today, but that didn't happen. I must say I frontloaded the recording a lot, putting a session every single day except on Sundays. A few things kept me from recording on some days, and I didn't feel like it on others, so all in all, I'm 5 days late on recording. It's no big deal, so long as I keep a pace fast enough to never run out of voice lines to edit within a day. After today's recording session, I'll be good until probably Thursday.

The editing is going very well. I had a couple of off days this week because of some personal event but yesterday's production stream went so well that I accomplished two days worth of work in a single day, so as of right now I'm about half a day ahead!

As you can see, things are coming along very nicely.

Presentation

I received the feedback on my presentation. Overall, they enjoyed it, they think it's very good and it's going to make a great addition to the conference. Given that this is my first experience public speaking and, as a consulting company, this is basically their job, they have given me a very detailed list of suggestions and improvements to make. I'll be making changes based on their feedback in the next couple of weeks, on my off time for the most part. Then, towards the end of the month, I'll record an ironed out version of the talk to make sure all is good for the event. This has been a very fun experience and I'm super grateful for the skill it's teaching me.

Screenshots!

With the editing pretty far along, it's time for screenshots! The first half of the video actually doesn't have that much fancy editing, so I have a limited selections of cool things to show.

Showing the framewalking up the side of the JRB ship while it's temporarily a floor.

Nearly 2 minutes of pendulums in After Effects to explain pendulum manipulation.

A rough explanation of how RNG is manipulated.

The advent of STROOP! That's the program I've been using to make all these cool camera angles and top-down visuals.

Progression of the real-time ABC total. A small section of Part 6 is dedicated to modern RTABC - its history is shown all at once so that the main focus can remain on TAS ABC.

Platform drift in BitFS on Wii VC. This one was animated in After Effects in about two minutes. Super simple animation that works perfectly to explain the phenomenon.

Finally, the very last thing I worked on yesterday that I need to finish today. A new type of glitchy ledgegrab!

That's it for now! Today, I'm recording a page or two, then editing part of Enter Secret Aquarium. It's gonna be a lot more visuals-intensive than the previous sections, so even though I got 15 minutes of video done in just three days, the next 15 are probably gonna take me five or six.

Have a great week!
