These are download links for the HF Patch for HoneySelect2. The full patch release post can be found here. Check it for a guide and more information.

Light patch v2.6 (6GB, read below)

Which version should I get?

  • Full patch contains everything, while light patch only contains patches and plugins but no content mods. If you are a new user or unsure, you should get the full patch.
  • If you recently updated mods with KKManager, you can probably get the light patch (light patch does not contain Sideloader Modpacks). If KKManager shows more than 5GB of non-studio Sideloader Modpack updates, downloading the full patch will be faster than updating with KKManager + downloading the light patch.
  • If you only want to play the main game with the default characters, you can get the light patch, BUT if you want to download custom character cards or scenes in the future you will need to come back and get the full patch. DO NOT use KKManager to update mods until you install the full patch.

  • Download all parts to the same directory. You can mix parts from different sources, but the file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
  • Start the included .exe file. A UAC prompt should appear. When you click Yes the patch installer will start.
  • Follow instructions in the installation wizard (for most users all you need to do is keep pressing Next).
  • If the installation location was not automatically detected or is wrong, you will have to show the patch where your game is installed. If you bought the game on Steam, go to your steam library > properties of the game > view local files to find where the game is installed.
  • At the start of installation the patch will verify if all of the downloaded parts are in order. This can take a couple of minutes to complete. If any parts are missing or corrupted, the patch will show an error message detailing which part you should redownload. If that happens: close the patch, download the bad file again (try using a different download link and/or web browser) and retry installing the patch.
  • After the patch installation finishes you can remove the downloaded patch files. That being said, I suggest keeping them in case your game breaks for any reason and you need to install the patch again to fix it.

If you have issues downloading mod updates through KKManager, try the patron-only update server available here (don't use it if normal servers work fine since it might end up slower).

What to do in case of download issues

  • If the download is very slow or fails to start, try a different download link and/or a different web browser. If all links are slow test your connection speed. If you have a VPN try changing the server or turning it off. If all fails you might have better luck with the torrent download.
  • Make sure you download ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have their original names. You need ALL parts for the patch to install properly.
  • If you see any messages about corrupted files you'll have to re-download the offending part (or all of the parts). Try using a different download source and/or a different web browser.
  • If the installer asks you for another disc, it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
  • Make sure that your antivirus is not flagging and removing the .exe file.

What to do in case of installation issues

  • If you get a "This patch is inside of the game directory" or "Path too long" error, move the patch files to a folder like "D:\HFP\" and try again.
  • If you get a "Different game is detected" error, make sure this is the correct patch for your game. KKS in the title means that this patch is for  Koikatsu Sunshine (doesn't work on Koikatu and Koikatsu Party).
  • If after installing the patch you have issues running the game, restart your PC and try to install the patch again with default settings.
  • If after installing the patch Studio hangs when loading, start KKManager (it's in a folder in game directory) and click "Look for updates" at the top, then tell it to update the Studio modpack.
  • Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the patch to work. If the installer asks you for another disc it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
  • If your antivirus is flagging the .exe file make sure that you've downloaded the patch by following links in this post. If you are sure the download came from the right place, it's most likely a false positive (it's a common issue with non-signed application installers).

Yes, you need to download all of the parts to the same folder and then run the exe. If any parts are missing the patch will not run.

Question. I downloaded and ran everything fine. But I selected the physics of the breast to change with the bra. Where can I undo this? That was dumb to do lol

Hi Marco, I`m quite new to the game, and I managed to download some characters cards. When I tried to open them in the character editor, it says I'm missing some zipmods. May I know where I can get an update for them? Also, I noticed that there are some pre-loaded faces in the character creation file like Tifa. Is there a folder in your patch that contains these character cards?

Update Sideloder Modpack (only the normal one) through game launcher. You can find character cards that use these mods on the discord server or on db.bepis.moe

Ive used this mod on a different Pc and the uncensored worked, but i recently switch to a different pc and reinstalled the game and mod and the uncensored now does not work, any idea why? edit: nvm im just a moron lol i think i figured it out

Is there a setting or Mod to adjust Character status's at will? Am i just missing it somewhere or is legit playthrough the only way?

I just downloaded the game on Steam deck and downloaded the HS2 HF Patch. When running through the patch installation I get hung up on the installation location because it can't find the steam file locations. I can usually find them myself and copy the location over but it still doesn't recognize the location. Do I need to actually play the game first or something before running the installation of this patch?

You have to point the patch to where the game is installed manually. If it refuses to install see what the error message says, it's probably not the game folder or it's a wrong game.

file verification faile some of the hf patch installation files are corrupted or missing make sure you downloaded all parts to the same folder and redownload any corrupted parts hf v2.6-1bin

You mean the upcoming steam version? I'll have to update the patch to make it work with that version of the game. It depends on how much they change, but most likely future versions of the patch will work with that version of the game.

I'm having some trouble installing the patch. I have the path set to Koikatsu Party in my steam common folder but it gives me the error "WARNING - HoneySelect2 files were not found in selected directory, this patch has to be installed directly to the main game directory in order to work properly Are you sure that this directory is correct?" I say yes and get another error saying "It looks like a different game is installed to teh selected direcroty, This is very likely tobreak one or both of the games. and to break the patch. Make sure you selected the correct directory, if you installed 2 games to the same directory you will have to reintall them both to separate directories to fix this." but I only have Koikatsu Party installed there

for some reason everytime i try to install the HF for HS2 the installation freezes and stops responding when it starts the installation, ive tried redownloading all parts and same thing. Is there something im missing?

i installed the lite patch and now i wanna install the full one, will it just do all the work or do i have to uninstall the lite one or somthing?

the exe file wont download fully for some reason. Ends up as a "crdownload" file?

Some of the hairstyles that are added through this patch come up as bland textures, looks like plastic lego instead of hair, any idea what i've done wrong? Most of the hair looks fine.

Does the patch include studio mode? i DL from steam and i dont have the option to open the studio

Yes, it does. Try restarting your PC and installing the patch again. You should get a custom game launcher with an option to open studio.

Great mods! Took me forever to pick a single outfit :)! Tons of addtional content all in one place. Feels good and was no problems with the install or download. That said, how could i get more maps addons? like a beach or a fully furnished house, ect...? Is there a place for more mods?

You can check for updated content mods from the custom launcher, they are added to the modpacks after getting vetted. If you want the latest then check the discord server.

Hi! I had this up and running without issue but I downloaded a weird mod that bugged my game and had to uninstall. I reinstalled the game from Steam and then downloaded this again and it's not working. Just the standard game. What do I do? Thank you! <3

i downloaded the patch but everytime i install it it says the ( v2.1-7 bin ) is currupted i tried to download the full patch and also by itself but it still says currupted or missing

How does one uninstall? For reference, the Full Patch v.21 from MediaFire was the one that I installed.

Remove the bepinex and mods folders. If you also want to remove game patches you'll have to reinstall the game.

Hey macro i think the files might be corrupted the light patch one. downloaded, redownloaded from both pixel and media but both fail. The exe reading that part 1 of the patch was missing.
