This movie terrified me as a kid, and I'm 100% with Jay on this flick being a sort of "entry-level" horror. THAT EYE IN THE HAND PART FREAKED ME OUT SO MUCH But yeah, I have a lot of nostalgic love for The Gate. :)

Was this movie more popular in the US than Canada? I'm a Canadian born in '85 and I've never even heard of it until this review. I can definitely say that just the clips from the review had me really freaked out. Will be a Halloween watch for sure.
